Sherri grew up in Asheville, North Carolina surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains. In 1989 she headed to the University of North Carolina at Wilmington earning a BA in Communications in 1993, She never looked back falling in love with Wilmington and the southeast coastal lifestyle.
In September 1993, Sherri married Gene Ingle, moving west to the foothills of the mountains to Hickory, NC. However, the coast and all it offered drew the two of them back to the beach in 2002.
In July of 2008 Sherri began her real estate career. As the Great Recession began, she learned how to navigate the ever-changing waters of the local market building a thriving business during the worst real estate market in 30 years. At heart she is a teacher, endeavoring to provide the most information so her clients can make the best decision possible for their real estate needs. The market is always changing, and Sherri looks for patterns of change and sharing with clients the pulse of the market.

After moving to Wilmington from Columbus, Ohio to attend UNCW, I knew the city had captured my heart. Not only did I meet my wife here, but also found a city that had everything I wanted for my future home. After graduating with concentrations in entrepreneurship and operations management I took a job with PPD as a financial analyst. This experience equipped me with the skills and experience to venture into business ownership and start up a frozen yogurt shop. After successfully owning and operating Kicking Kiwi Frozen Yogurt Bar in Goldsboro, NC, my wife, and I decided to sell the business. Immediately following the sale of our business, we moved back to Wilmington. We now call Wilmington home and are proud to be a part of Intracoastal Realty and The Rising Tide Team.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Clare, son Asher and daughters Colbie and Gabby. You will be able to find me at the beach, playing outdoor basketball, and running the loop (probably with our boxer, Ralph). When I’m not enjoying Wilmington’s outdoors, I am most likely rooting on my favorite sports teams. You will also find our family at Port City Community Church, where we are active members.

I was born and raised in Hickory, NC. I began spending my summers at Oak Island, NC at the age of seven - that is when I fell in love with the beach. I attended the University of North Carolina Wilmington and graduated in 1993 with a major in Communications.
After graduation I moved back to Hickory with my fiancée, and we found ourselves in the car every weekend headed for the coast! The chance to move back to Wilmington presented itself in 2002.
Since my move back to the coast, I have been the Sales Manager for a local marine dealership. I have managed to find plenty of time to fish and visit the beach with my family.
As much as I enjoy being around boats, I could not resist the opportunity to join Intracoastal Realty. My wife and two boys love the area as much as I do, and I look forward to being here for the rest of my days.
Steven is a proud Wilmington native who enjoys surfing and spending time with his wife, Chelsea and their son, Zander. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from UNC-Wilmington. A native of Fayetteville, NC, Daphne attended Methodist College where she studied business and accounting. She relocated to Wilmington, NC in 2000 with her husband to raise their two children. After working in the field of Massage Therapy for ten years, she opted for a career change in 2005 and obtained her real estate license as well as her Brokers license.
Daphne joined Intracoastal Realty in 2006 and works closely with both buyers and sellers. Catherine Casteen is a third generation native of Wilmington providing a local’s unique knowledge of the area for her clients. A graduate of John T. Kirstin was born and raised in Warren, Vermont where she enjoyed being outdoors year-round participating in activities such as skiing, horseback riding and hiking. As a child she and her family traveled frequently around the United States and abroad which exposed her to differing cultures and ways of life. Her first visit to North Carolina was a 4-month stint as a nanny on Bald Head Island in the fall of 1984. Ever since that initial taste of Southeastern North Carolina, she has been visiting annually. Kirstin finally moved down from Boston in 2005 with her husband and two children, making the Historic District their new home.
Prior to getting her Real Estate license, Kirstin owned and operated a frame shop on Castle Street where she put her years of framing experience and education from Massachusetts College of Art to great use. A North Carolina native, Melissa grew up in Fuquay-Varina and planted roots in Wilmington upon graduating from UNC-W where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing.
Melissa’s professional career includes working in the mortgage banking industry, in telecommunication sales and in the non-profit sector, employed by the American Red Cross as Assistant Director of Blood Services. After marrying her husband, Dan, and the birth of her 2 sons, Melissa took on the title of domestic engineer. She stayed active with the PTA, volunteered as room mom, and helped with the Child Advocacy and Parenting Place Gala for many years. Being a present figure in her children’s lives was her priority.
Prior to joining Intracoastal Realty in late 2018, Melissa had ample experience applying real estate practices to her personal life. She and her husband sold two personal residencies and designed and self-contracted two homes. Overseeing the construction of their homes from the ground up garnered her interest in pursuing a career in Real Estate.
Melissa is an avid lover of tennis, and you can find her playing in a friendly round robin or competing in a USTA match whenever she has the chance. If she isn’t hitting the courts, she’s on the water with her family spending a lazy afternoon at Mason’s Inlet, fishing in Page’s Creek or watching her sons surf at Masonboro Island.
Melissa’s attention to detail and her background in marketing, sales and new home design and construction as well as her extensive knowledge of the Wilmington area make her an asset to her clients.
Jim’s connection with the area began in the early ‘70s when he first visited Wrightsville Beach with family friends. It continued in 1983 with his first purchase of beach property and construction of a vacation home, and culminated in 1997 when he and his family – wife Kathy, son Brad, and daughter Kristen -- officially “transplanted” from Charlotte to Wrightsville Beach on a full-time basis.
Real Estate Development and Sales – After moving to the coast Jim became a licensed contractor and real estate broker and has been involved in real estate development, construction and sales in the area. He has built a number of high-end homes at area beaches and Landfall. Jim was the managing partner and majority owner of the SeaWatch development at Kure Beach.
As an “absentee” owner of vacation and investment property for more than 35 years, and more recently as a full-time resident in the area, Jim understands both the joys and challenges that out-of-towners face when identifying and purchasing coastal property on a “long-distance” basis. His knowledge of the various market segments, special requirements of coastal construction, and rental potential of properties, enables him to play an invaluable role in evaluating different options.
More About Jim - A native of Salisbury, Jim graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 1976 with a BS in Business Administration. In 1977, he co-founded Datasouth Computer Corporation where he served as a director and executive officer for 21 years. He is actively involved in the Wilmington community and serves on the Boards of Communities in Schools of Cape Fear, and in the past on the boards of Cape Fear Builders Guild, Wachovia/Wells Fargo Bank, Junior Achievement of Cape Fear, and the Greater Wilmington Chamber Foundation. In addition, he has served on the PTA boards at Wrightsville Beach School and Noble Middle School, as well as the president of the Hoggard High Athletic Booster Club. Jim is also an active member of Wrightsville United Methodist Church where he has served on a number of committees.
Lin is a North Carolina native and graduate of the Poole School of Business at North Carolina State University. After graduation, he enjoyed a lengthy career in banking specializing in all aspects of real estate lending and most prevalently, residential mortgage lending. During his career, he held an active North Carolina real estate license acting in leasing and management of residential and commercial income property as well as boat slips and slip sales.
Having lived and worked in Southeastern North Carolina for over 30 years with his wife raising three daughters in Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach, Lin knows the value of the community and the amenities citizens of the area enjoy.
Understanding the value of community service, Lin is involved with numerous professional, educational, and civic organizations. He is currently a sitting Board Member appointed to the City of Wilmington Housing Loan Review Board which ensures lower income citizens have access to homeownership and home retention funding.
On the private side, Lin and his family are active parishioners at St. James Episcopal Church serving at teachers, vestrymen and preservationist of Mount Lebanon Chapel in Airlie Gardens. Adair Flynn is a native of Rock Hill, SC, and has lived in Wilmington since 1995 when she and her husband Jeff moved here from Columbia, SC. She attended Columbia College where she studied marketing.
Before having three children, Adair worked in radio advertising where her passion for working with people was born. She has spent the last 10 years as a teacher at Jenkins Pre-school academy.

Noelle is the proud mom of five amazing children, three college graduates from Tulane and NC State, a college senior at UNC Chapel Hill, and a high school junior. Raised in Wilmington, Casey Barth is a native of the community, giving him a firm knowledge and understanding of the Wilmington market. As a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, he was a four-year starter on the football team as the place kicker where he was a two-year special teams captain and holds six school records.
He received two undergraduate degrees in Management and Society, as well as Communications. Continuing his professional football career, he went on to sign as an undrafted free agent for the Atlanta Falcons in the Summer of 2013 and then with the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football league in the Spring of 2014.
In his previous role working for an international furniture distribution company, Casey served as the director of business development where he provided clients with sales presentations and innovative insights on new product development. Having constant interaction dealing with logistics in China, Casey gained the experience of what it takes to negotiate and close transactions at any length!

Growing up here in Wilmington, NC and now living full time on Wrightsville Beach, Connor has a true passion for this wonderful area and everything that it has to offer. He graduated from Hoggard High School where he was named All-State and first team All American at placekicker his senior year. He went on to have an outstanding career kicking the football all four years at UNC Chapel Hill, where he was then signed as an undrafted free agent to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2008. He went on to have a fantastic ten-year career kicking the football with the longest stop being with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2009-2015 and his final two years in 2016 and 2017 with the Chicago Bears.
Having lived here most of his life Connor has a great understanding of the real estate market and the different communities surrounding the Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach areas. He is very active in the community and plans to continue to live here as his brother Casey Barth and his wife and mom and dad are in the area as well. When he is not practicing real estate, you will find him out on the water paddle surfing or on the boat. He has a wonderful eye for photography where he shoots aerial and in water ocean photography.
